Who Are We

We are a bunch of nerds and to be nerds and geeks and future programmers and developers and game changers, who are exploring the world of code. We are a team of students from Gandhinagar Institute of Technology, who would tinker on code and forums on our own individually, and now here we have gathered on a common platform to everyone’s advantage.




Campus Program Partner

GIT is Campus Program Partner of GitHub, which allows the students of GIT to have access to enterprise grade tools while they are still in their undergraduate programs. This will help boost the skills of the students and make them better skilled for the future.

GIT is the very first GTU affiliated institution to have such a partnership with GitHub.

Launch

To launch the Club officially, we invited few of our Alumnis and had a discussion with them about version control, GitHub and their stories and experiences around it. Below is the full launch video.


Gandhinagar Institute of Technology

Gandhinagar Institute of Technology was established by Platinum Foundation Trust in December 2006. The Institute is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University and approved by AICTE New Delhi.

The Institute aims to be a leading center for research and engineering study, pursuing knowledge in both fundamental and applied area, and collaborating closely with business and industry in promoting technological innovation and economic development. It offers B.E Program in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology and Electronics & Communication Engineering. It also offers M.E. in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Thermal Engineering and CAD / CAM and M.E. in Software Engineering in Computer Engineering. It also offers an MBA Program with specialization in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource and Information Systems.






Campus Advisor


Prof. Mitul Maniar, is a certified GithHub Campus Advisor. He has been actively pushing students to make use of various tools and platforms, specially the ones which are outside of prescribed syllabus. He can usually be smashing keyboard either of his BlackBerry or Laptop, and tinkering and tweaking things
